This Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $76 million after it rolled over for a fifth successive time. Tuesday night’s $63 million jackpot wasn’t won, but there were plenty of prizes picked up elsewhere.

Last Night’s Winning Numbers

The winning numbers in the drawing on Tuesday January 23rd were 2, 6, 30, 31 and 55 with Mega Ball 7 and the x4 Megaplier.

It was the 81st time in the history of Mega Millions that the number 7 has been drawn as the Mega Ball, whilst 4 came up as the all-important Megaplier for the third time this month.

Elsewhere, 31 and 2 added another appearance each in the winning line to bolster their status as two of the most common winning numbers in the history of the game. 31 has now been drawn a record 212 times, whilst 2 isn’t far behind, on 208 appearances. Were There Any Other Winners?

There were more than half a million prize winners on the night across America. One lucky player from North Carolina bagged themselves $1 million after matching all five main numbers, and there were 16 Match 4 plus Mega Ball winners, three of whom boosted the regular $10,000 to $40,000 by adding Megaplier when they bought their tickets.

There were winners in a further six prize tiers, right down to the 328,818 winners who bagged themselves $2 each for matching just the Mega Ball.
