Mega Millions Jackpot Climbs to $323 Million

Friday August 4th’s Mega Millions jackpot is currently the biggest lottery prize in the world, standing at a whopping $323 million. No players matched all five main numbers and the Mega Ball in Tuesday’s drawing, which means there have now been twenty-seven jackpot rollovers since anyone last pocketed the top prize.

The winning Mega Millions numbers for Tuesday August 1st were 20, 22, 52, 57 and 73, with Mega Ball 7 and 5x Megaplier. You can view the prize breakdown for Tuesday’s drawing by visiting the dedicated page. Although there were no jackpot winners, there were four Match 5 winners, from Illinois, Virginia and, New York (2), each winning $1,000,000.

If Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is won, the fortunate ticket holder will become the tenth largest prize winner in the history of the game and will rank alongside lucky players like Harold Diamond, a retired school principal from New York, who won $326 million on November 4th, 2014.

The Mega Millions jackpot of $61 million was last claimed by David Trapp, a resident of California, who purchased his winning ticket in Laguna Hills. You can view more winners by visiting the Mega Millions Winners page.

Tickets for the drawing on Friday night are available from authorized retailers or you can choose your numbers online. Don’t forget to check your numbers and view the prize breakdown after the drawing by heading on over to the Numbers section. Good luck!
