This draw saw a whopping total of 451,330 Mega Millions winners. From that amount, only one winner managed to score the $1 Million second-tier prize. This winner matched with the five main numbers, however, since his ticket did not have the Megaplier included, the win was not tripled to a massive €3 Million. 12 people won $10,000 each by matching with four of the main numbers as well as the Megaball. 314 ticket holders won $500 each by managing to match with the four main numbers. 55 of the 314 winners had their ticket with the Megaplier, meaning their win tripled to $1,500. 

Adrian Tongson from Racine, Wisconsin claims Mega Millions jackpot

$120 Million ($95.4 million cash) was claimed by Wisconsin winner, Adrian Tongson, on the 10th of November, 2020, after winning the sum on the 15th of September, 2020. The very fortunate ticket was sold at Kwik Trip #134 on 4924 Spring St. in Mount Pleasant. Tongson plays Mega Millions regularly and said how he didn’t even know about his win until he checked his ticket a few weeks later. He also stated how it only takes one time to win such a majestic prize. Tongson picked the $95.4 cash option, totaling his winnings to $65.2 million following the federal and state taxes.

This particular win marks itself as the first Mega Millions jackpot win in Wisconsin history. They launched with Mega Millions back in the year 2010 on the 31st of January. However, this does not mean that this state has not seen Mega Millions winners. In fact, there have been 64 lucky ticket holders which won $1 Million each ever since its launch in 2010. 

This is also Mount Pleasant Kwik Trip's #134's very first victorious jackpot win. Kwik Trips all over the Wisconsin state have sold nine $1 Million and more winning tickets. John McHugh, Kwik Trip Director of Public Relations, stated how he’s very thrilled about the win and how they will be receiving $100,000 for selling the winning ticket. They will be sharing the profits with the coworkers accordingly.
